Hockey Fights Cancer - 2025

Each November, the Chicago Blues Hockey Club proudly joins the hockey community in supporting the Hockey Fights Cancer initiative, benefitting the American Cancer Society. This annual campaign unites our players, families, and supporters to raise awareness and funds for cancer research, patient support, and community programs. Together, we honor survivors, remember loved ones, and stand beside those still fighting.

This year’s campaign holds special meaning for the Chicago Blues family as we dedicate our efforts in memory of Justin Maciuk, our beloved Hockey Director, coach, and friend. Justin’s leadership, passion, and unwavering commitment to our players left an enduring mark on our club. We honor his legacy through this year’s Hockey Fights Cancer campaign — coming together as a community to continue the fight in his name.

Throughout November 2025, the Chicago Blues will host a series of fundraising efforts designed to engage every member of our hockey community:

• Team Raffle Baskets (Nov 14-30): Each team will create a themed basket that will be auctioned off at the rink.
• Jersey Raffle (Nov 14-30): We'll be raffling off a signed, framed, authentic Conor Bedard jersey to one lucky winner. Tickets are limited!
• Limited Edition Apparel and Merch: Pre-order now to get yours by 11/15!
• Direct Donations (Nov 1-30): Families, friends, and community partners can make contributions directly to support the cause and help our efforts grow.
• Blues Player Fundraising Challenge (Nov 1-30): Players and teams will compete for top fundraising honors and great prizes.
• Hockey Fights Cancer Weekend (Nov 21-23): A dedicated Hockey Fights Cancer weekend will bring our community together in celebration and remembrance.

All funds raised during this campaign will support the American Cancer Society and their mission to end cancer as we know it — for everyone.
