The Chicago Blues Pee Wee Minor CSDHL team went undefeated in last weekend's Bauer World Invite and brought home the 2016 championship!

With 32 teams competing at the 2005 AAA level, our boys charged through the first round, made it to the sweet 16 and played their hearts out to secure a spot in the semi's against the CSDHL Affton Americans. After dispatching Affton with a 1-0 victory, we faced the Canadian team the Vaughn - Ontario Rangers in the championship game and took control of the game early to take the title with a 4-1 result.

This young team showed amazing stamina with seven games over three days - including 3 on Sunday. The stats speak for themselves, with only 4 goals allowed against and an incredible 35 goals scored! Head Coach Chris Imes (see photo at bottom) and Assistant Coach Ivo Jukl were amazing and kept this team firing on all cylinders through a marathon weekend of great hockey.
