The Squirt NIHL 1 team sticks together on and off the ice, and this camaraderie is paying off on the scoreboard. The squad competed in the AAA Motown Classic in Detroit over the holiday weekend, and when a couple of the players purchased a tournament commemorative sweater it wasn't long before the entire team was outfitted in the same attire (see photo below).

As of December 2 Squirt NIHL 1 is in first place in league play at the Elite level and is ranking 16th in the nation by My Hockey Rankings at the 2009 level. Keep it up, Squirts!
